Yoga and Stretching

Rise with the sun for our morning yoga and stretching sessions. Designed to open your chakras and set a positive tone for the day, these sessions are a gentle invitation to embrace mindfulness and physical well-being.

Breakout Sessions

Dive deeper into self-exploration with our 90-minute breakout sessions. Available on Friday and Saturday, these sessions offer immersive experiences in various practices to enrich your personal growth journey.

Silent Walks

Engage in contemplative silence with our guided silent walks. A chance to connect with nature, reflect inwardly, and find peace in the quietude of your surroundings.

Evening Sessions

Experience the power of breath work and healing sessions, led by our dedicated facilitator. These sessions are a profound opportunity to release, heal, and journey inward.

Catered Dinner and Dance Party

Celebrate your inner child with a night of joy, dance, and connection. Our catered dinner and dance party is a vibrant expression of freedom and playfulness, encouraging you to let loose and enjoy the moment.

Closing Ceremony

Conclude your retreat with a powerful group session led by a Shaman. Reflect, journal, and participate in a ceremonial release of all that no longer serves you, paving the way for new beginnings.

Additional Experiences

Enhance your retreat experience with soul-nourishing offerings such as Reiki energy sessions, intuitive card readings, and other restorative experiences to be revealed throughout your stay. About Us

Gentle Whispers Retreat was born from our shared experience of living within the familiar walls of the comfort zone—where fear often keeps us playing small and the unknown feels too risky to explore. Many of us have longed for something more, yet let the voice of doubt convince us to stay where it feels safe. Eventually, we come to a point of deep restlessness, realizing that the only way forward is to get out of our own way and step beyond the edges of comfort—into the space where true growth begins.

This retreat is an invitation to do just that. Gentle Whispers is a space to pause, breathe, and come home to ourselves. It’s a place to quiet the noise, release what no longer serves us, and reconnect with our inner wisdom. With over 47 years in dance, leadership, and transformational coaching, Mainey gently guides women out of their heads and back into their bodies, where true healing and clarity live.

At Gentle Whispers Retreat, Mainey will lead Soul Dance to help you shake off stress and rediscover your lightness, and offer TRE® to release tension and restore calm to your nervous system. Her sessions are accessible to all, inviting you to feel what needs to be felt, move what’s ready to shift, and return home to yourself.

Jennifer Mason

Jennifer is an RMT and CLT/LDT with extensive training in fascia and lymphatic therapies. With over a decade of hands-on experience and advanced study in osteopathy, she guides others in restoring balance, releasing chronic patterns, and reconnecting with the body’s natural rhythms of healing. At the retreat, Jennifer offers gentle yet powerful treatments that support nervous system regulation, ease pain, and awaken the body’s innate capacity to heal from within.

Bridgette Shaw-Bane

Yoga and Meditation Facilitator

“When we slow down, we can hear what the body and heart have been trying to say.”

Bridgette has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation for nearly 30yrs. She is a senior teacher and Sadhaka Yogini in the ISHTA Lineage. She runs trainings, mentorships, retreats, workshops and classes in Canada and the US.

Her focus has shifted into working with women in peri-post menopause since her journey started as such a difficult one10yrs ago. She is now 1 of 3 women certified to teach Hormone Yoga, HY, the DInah Rodrigues Method. This practice along with managaging stress became imperative in managing her symptoms. She now teaches women all around the world how to do this 30 min set sequence as well as help them learn how to truly relax. 

After decades of specializing in restorative yoga, nidra, meditation and other practices that help reduce stress, she knows that learning to find balance in this area is especially important throughout these years.

Stress plays a major role in how we transition through this time and impacts al parts of us because stress will cause disregulation on a hormonal level. It will seep into all areas of our health and life causing disease, poor mental health, emotional instability, issues with our sleep, careers, families and more.

Sometimes stress reduction comes in the form of movement and sometimes in stillness. In the mornings Bridgette will guide you through accessible breathwork and yoga practices to help awaken you to the present moment with a gentle, curious energy. We will work with visualizaiton and silent mantra to tap into the unbound potential and inspiration that is always within. You will leave feeling open, present, focused, expansive and ready for your day. 

In the evenings Bridgette will guide you through gentle restorative postures and techniques to soothe and ground you as you begin to integrate the day’s lessons. She will be working with Joanne who will provide a sound bath with bowls to assist in this journey.

*HY will not be taught at this retreat. We will be focusing on stress reduction, mobility, exploration and ease throughout our weekend.

If you would like to book private sessions with Bridgette, she is offering a personalized yoga nidra recording that you will help her create. Don’t worry, you just provide some guidance, she will do the recording;) 

Lake Louise is said to be a sacred site at an energy vortex and the Earth’s energy is concentrated here. This makes for the perfect space to receive a Prana Healing Session.

She helps women reclaim their health, waistline, and confidence by blending science with soul. As a Metabolic Balance™ Coach, she integrates Sound Wellness™, Eden Energy Medicine™, and Belief Re-patterning™ to support women in navigating menopause madness, boosting energy, and breaking free from outdated narratives. She believes midlife is meant to be embraced with community, connection, and just the right dose of daring.

When she’s not coaching, speaking, or hosting events, you might find her kayaking on mountain lakes, walking in the forest with her husband and dog, or sharing laughter with friends and family.

A Reiki Master and dedicated spiritual teacher, Krista has spent years deepening her knowledge through countless courses and trainings — including multiple levels of Reiki, angel guidance and intuition development, aromatherapy and herbal wellness, energy healing techniques, and other spiritual studies that continue to shape her work and her offerings.

Through her small-batch, energy-infused products, intuitive chakra readings, and transformational courses — including Reiki training, aromatherapy classes, and angel guidance workshops — Krista creates tools and experiences that help others feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in their everyday lives.
